AWARENESS
EXTRA CREDIT
- All this week look everyone in the eye and make it a goal to shake the hand and learn the names of at least 5 strangers.
- At worst, we learn to look at and actually see everyone, even folks that are usually off your radar.
- At best, we may find a new friend.
- Deduct a half-point if you skip the handshake. The human animal responds positively to touches. The handshake is socially acceptable and allows us to learn to be proactive with “de-escalation” practice.
